We want you to know that your privacy is very important to us.

As is widely known, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament of 27th April 2016 laying down rules on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of circulation of such data, shall apply in the European Union starting 25 May 2018.

We therefore make it a matter of treating the personal data collected with the utmost rigor and transparency, in strict observance with the Law.

This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, what purposes we may use, how we treat them, with whom we share them, how long we keep them, and how to contact us and how to exercise your rights.

 

 

1. WHAT TYPE OF DATA DO WE COLLECT?

We are unable to book your stay with us if we do not have the necessary information. Therefore, whenever you access our site or booking platforms, you will be asked to provide us with some basic information such as name, contact, names of escorts and payment information.

Thus, we may collect and process the following information:
a) Basic information - such as name, age, gender, passport data and photograph available publicly, as well as taxpayer number;

b) Contact information - such as your personal address, zip code, email address and telephone number;

c) Financial information - such as your credit card details;

d) Health information when disclosed and relevant to the provision of services;

e) Preferences - such as special requests, service details and other preferences for your stay;

f) Correspondence - When you contact us, for example, to send a question or make a request, any correspondence or demand may be saved and added to your personal information.

We guarantee that the data you provide us will be collected to the exact extent necessary for the management of the contractual relationship and consequent provision of the requested service.

When you provide us with the data of others, we clarify that it is your responsibility to ensure that the person (or persons) whose personal data you have provided us with was informed, understood and accepted the way we use their information.

We may also receive your data from other sources, such as business partners.

If the necessary personal data is not provided, we will not be able to provide the service.

 

2. WHAT ARE SAFETY AND RETENTION PROCEDURES USED TO SAFEGUARD YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Adequate technical means and procedures have been used to ensure the protection of the personal data provided to us, preventing unauthorized disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, treatment or access, or any other form of illegal treatment.

We store personal information in a safe place and ensure that only specifically designated persons have access to such information.

Your personal information will be stored for the period of time required by the Portuguese Law. This implies that your data will be kept after your stay. We will remove your personal information after it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected.

 

3. WHAT INFORMATION IS NOT SAFE?

We strive to protect your personal data that we have in our records but, unfortunately, we can not guarantee their absolute security. Unauthorized access or use, software or hardware failure, and other factors may compromise the security of your information. On the other hand, while we seek to maintain adequate protections we can not guarantee the security of personal information in databases hosted on other entities.

It is alerted to the fact that no communication by email is totally safe. This is an inherent risk of using email. We recommend that you keep this in mind when requesting information or sending us forms by email (for example, from the "Contact Us" section on our website). It is recommended that you do not include any sensitive information (for example, credit card information) when using the email. For your protection, our responses by email will not include any confidential information.

As a precaution, make sure you always close your Internet browsers when you are finished using a form or the booking site. Although the session ends after a short period of inactivity, it is best to shut down your browsers immediately upon completion, especially if you are using a public computer.

 

4. HOW DO WE DEAL WITH PERSONAL CHILD DATA?

Our reservations must be made by those over 18 years of age.

We only process the data of children, with the authorization of the parents or when accompanied by adults who have made the reservation and with the proper authorization of the same.

 

5. TO WHOM DO WE PROVIDE YOUR DATA?

In the processing of your data, we resort to or may resort to others entities, subcontractors, on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions, to process the customer's data.

We are committed to subcontracting only entities that offer the maximum security in the execution of the appropriate technical and organizational measures, in order to guarantee the defense of the client's rights.

We may also provide your data to local or foreign regulators, governments, courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.

 

6. WHAT IS THE USE AND PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT OF YOUR DATA?

The data we collect are adequate, justified and limited for specific purposes and are not subsequently processed in a way contrary to those purposes.

Thus, we use your data for the following purposes:
a) Provision of hotel services;

b) Legitimate business purposes - the use of your personal information helps us to operate and improve our activity, in addition to minimizing any disruption to the services we can provide. It also enables us to make our communications more relevant and personalized and make your experience with our services more efficient and effective;

c) Management of customer contacts;

d) Billing and collection to the client;

e) Customer registration on the site;

f) Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, including financial reporting requirements imposed by public regulators;

g) Establishment, exercise or defense of lawsuits.

 

7. HOW CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

You can control the way we use your personal data at any time.

At any time, you may ask us whether your personal data are subject to processing and, if applicable, the right to access your personal data, review them and submit us requests for information, especially on the purposes of processing, the recipients to whom the data were or will be disclosed, the period of retention of the data and the origin of the data (if not provided by you).

You may also ask us to rectify, delete, block or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you if they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or processed, unless they are necessary for compliance with legal obligations.
